In July I could not resist a post Claire wrote on her blog where she asked if anyone would help a friend of hers by knitting a few easter eggs. So now…two months later…I finished two for her! I wanted to make a “Norwegian” touch and with small needles, thin yarn and too few rows for my pattern, it turned out to be a bit more complicated than anticipated. So I have to admit that it has been put away for better days to come; and that was tonight! In the end they turned out pretty cute although the shape probably could have been more egg-like…!

Adorable! It’s a bit weird seeing easter egss in September, but certainly something I’ll keep in mind. Love the Norwegian touch.

I know! But I think Claire’s friend does a wise thing planning in advance if she is to get lots of them!

Thanks! …but I now remember why I have avoided thin needles and miniature projects… 🙂
