As part of my job I frequently have to travel, mostly by plane. For longer trips I work on my computer, but It gives me lots of small slots which is not suited for writing; like train/bus to and from airports, waiting at the gate and the first and last part of the flight. I recently found some nice Rowan Lace yarn on sale and could not resist… It was in a colour I rarely prefer (orange), but I have been looking at the yarn for a while and are actually starting to like this one! So I have started to make a lace shawl; my first one ever… Not very advanced, I am using the St. John’s Wort type of stitch (as described here) with some garther stitch in-between. I added some grey yarn; I do not know which type it is (I got it from my sister some years ago), but it feels like similar quality. Fingers crossed that it will turn out to be something wearable!
