I went to the library with my kids in the weekend and stopped by the shelves with knitting books and what popped out: the book: “Sokker hele året” by Bitta Mikkelsborg (the title would be something like: A year with socks). I discovered that she has a very nice blog (http://bittamisdesign.blogspot.no) and Ravelry page with lots of patterns (http://www.ravelry.com/people/Bittami). Although the internet is so filled with amazing blogs and other sites with patterns and projects, I still like to curl up in my favourite chair and enjoy a knitting book! I think the compilation is more definitive and in this book I liked how she has made 52 designs; one per week of the year. I have chosen the pattern “Lille Frøken Sommer” (Little Miss Summer), and I am using Koigu Premium Merino (leftover yarn from years back!) in a dark pink color.
